Whoever would have thought that a small town girl with deep roots in Nebraska would have landed in Boston to raise her family. I am originally from a small town in western Nebraska, and moved to the east coast to attend college in New York City when I was 18. In the mid '90's my husband and our two small children moved to Boston so that he could attend grad school at MassArt. We found an apartment in the Hyde Square neighborhood of Jamaica Plain, I immediately fell in love with the area. A few years later, we bought our first home in the Brookside neighborhood and undertook a major renovation. Two years later, we moved two blocks away to a large ramshackle Victorian in Egleston Square. I've raised three amazing children in the city, all three of whom have gone through the Boston Public school system.

To help ensure the quality of life in my neighborhood, I've played an active role in neighborhood associations and community gardens over the years. Before joining the team at Unlimited Sotheby's International Realty, I worked to support families across Boston for over 18 years. My passion for cooking healthy foods for my family led me to provide private chef services to Boston and Cambridge area families.

For the previous 10 years, I was employed by Isis Parenting as a founding core team member, educator and retail buyer. Prior to that I was the Director of Childbirth Education and Lactation Services at Dorchester House Multi Service Center, and before that, a Childbirth Educator and Certified Birth Sister/Doula at Boston Medical Center, and organizational leader of La Leche League of Boston, as well as a volunteer at the nonprofit, Room To Grow. My commitment to family in Boston is something I keep close to my heart.

In my personal time I am an avid organic gardener, home chef and foodie fanatic, currently loving the restaurant explosion happening in greater Boston. I love walking the gorgeous and historic green space JP has to offer, with Franklin Park steps from my front door, as well as Jamaica Pond, and the Arnold Arboretum. Jamaica Plain is my home and my community. I understand first hand the challenges of finding the perfect place to live.

It is my pleasure to assist you with all your real estate needs, whether it's finding your dream home, locating the perfect apartment for your student in Boston, making your first home purchase or assisting with the sale of your home. I am here to serve all renters', buyers' and sellers' needs, and to make the process less stressful and the transition to your new home more enjoyable. Families are what make us strong and with my background, I can help make your family's dreams in Boston come true.
