Welcome Our New Agent – April Nelson

Join us in welcoming sales associate April Nelson to our team.

April HeadshotAfter a long career in marketing, April Nelson decided to merge her passion for real estate and interior design with her marketing and communications expertise to become a full time real estate professional. Her background in marketing and studies in interior design are valuable assets for helping visualize and communicate a property’s value to clients, whether buyers or sellers, seeking top dollar. “The idea of buying and selling real estate has excited me since the first time I participated directly in the process. My aim is for my clients to feel the same thrill and great sense of accomplishment I did, because it usually means moving on to the next stage in your life,” Nelson says. She prides herself in having a strong sense of loyalty, integrity, and resolve.

Nelson and her husband moved into a fixer-upper in Roslindale in 2007 after falling in love with the home’s location, just blocks from the vibrant restaurants in the square, and with easy access to the city via public transportation. They have enjoyed watching the neighborhood (and their home!) grow and evolve, especially as they raise their toddler son. Despite growing up in Texas, Nelson has come to embrace the New England weather — especially the gorgeous summer and fall seasons. In warmer months, she spends much of her spare time gardening and served several terms as a board member for Roslindale Green & Clean, an organization dedicated to beautifying the green spaces of Roslindale.
